Performed seismic hazard assessment of the dam sites in the Central Asia region, in Caucasus,
in Siberia and Far East of Russia, in India, in Mongolia, in Sudan. Studied active fault crossings
with the pipelines of the Sakhalin-1, Sakhalin-2 Sakhalin-5, East Siberiaa – Pacific and Power of
Siberia Projects. Participated in elaboration of the new Russian macroseismic scale ("Natural
phenomena" section), of the updated Russian seismic code, of the new General seismic zoning
map of Russian Federation OSR-2016 (Deputy of the Chief Editor on sesimotectonics).
Compiled the database of rockslides and rock avalanches of the entire Central Asia region
